According to a survey conducted by ExpressVPN, the feelings of employers and employees regarding remote work and subsequent employee-monitoring practices showed 78% of employers track their employees' performance and online activity, with 66% of respondents monitoring web history tracking. On the employee side, 59% of 2,000 employees are wary of employer surveillance, and 43% believes the monitoring is a violation of trust.
