Companies have an opportunity to set themselves apart from their competitors by not only meeting demands of privacy regulations but exceeding them. “For those ahead of the curve, there will be significant cost savings and growth — especially as customers start to shift their loyalty toward those businesses that respect and protect their privacy.”  This can be seen by the way a company like Apple has gone to war with Facebook over Privacy.
