Facebook scatters new privacy information throughout settings menu

In an update to its menu configuration, Facebook has backtracked on its 2018 move to centralise its privacy information and settings by splitting them into six new headings, which reside in other categories. TechCrunch describes the new layout as a treasure hunt. While Facebook has made its Privacy Checkup feature more prominent, in reality, the move represents the company's ongoing effort to obfuscate and obscure users who wish to review or update their privacy settings.
