Big Tech lobbied EU over new privacy laws, others welcome DSA

A report based on lobbying documents obtained via freedom of information requests highlights frenzied attempts by technology companies, including Apple, Amazon, Google, Meta and Spotify, to secure their interests behind the scenes and reshape core elements of the Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act. 

In related news, Amnesty International welcomes the DSA as a watershed moment, while European Digital Rights (EDRi) warns more work is needed to regulate the Internet better.
