Law firm signs over 1000 claimants affected by MoD data breach

Barings Law has registered over 1,000 potentially affected individuals after a cyberattack targeted an MoD payroll system managed by external contractor SSCL. 

Adnan Malik, head of data privacy at Barings Law, highlighted the widespread anxiety and uncertainty among those who may have been impacted, with hundreds of inquiries pouring in daily. Many serving members of the armed forces feel abandoned, while others with high-security clearance are concerned about potential job loss.
