Vestager doubts Big Tech will fully comply with DMA rules

Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice President of the European Commission for A Europe Fit for the Digital Age, expressed her doubts as to whether the six designated "gatekeepers" will comply with the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA) by creating a fair playing field for smaller competitors. Vestager voiced her concerns during a news conference, suggesting that she may investigate some of the companies in the coming months. She also urged the six companies to consider feedback from third parties regarding their compliance proposals and make any necessary changes.
