US intelligence agencies seek FISA Section 702 reauthorisation

US intelligence officials are urging for the reauthorisation of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, warning of "grave national security risks" if there is a potential lapse or modifications to the section. This comes ahead of a US Senate subcommittee hearing on 13 June, where 21 advocacy groups seek programme reforms.
