UPDATE: 500 million LinkedIn accounts allegedly exposed

LinkedIn has allegedly had personal information scraped from more than 500 million accounts. The entire data trove was not posted, but hackers selling the data posted 2 million records as proof that they had the information. The scraped data includes full names, email addresses, phone numbers, workplace information and more. 

UPDATE: 090421 - LinkedIn said it did not experience a data breach.
