Irish DPC opens data privacy investigations into TikTok

The Irish Data Protection Commission has opened two investigations into Tik Tok over its data practices. The first investigation relates "to the processing of personal data in the context of platform settings for users under age 18 and age verification measures for persons under 13," while the second focuses on transfers of personal data to China and whether Tik Tok complies with EU data law.
