CJEU to deliver Facebook, Schrems privacy case ruling on Thursday

On Thursday, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) will finally deliver its ruling in the so-named 'Schrems II' case, brought forth by NOYB Founder Max Schrems. The CJEUs ruling will determine whether standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Privacy Shield are still valid. Ahead of this week's ruling, privacy campaigner Max Shcrems calls on silicon valley to distance itself from the US pervasive surveillance culture.
