Investors back digital skills development to maximise GenAI benefits

A new PwC study indicates that investors are cautiously optimistic about the global economy and anticipate that generative AI (GenAI) will be a significant driver of growth. The PwC UK Investor Survey of over 100 investors reveals that 74% of respondents predict that GenAI will raise productivity, while 60% believe it will increase profitability, and 58% say it will boost revenue. However, the study also shows that Investors recognise that businesses must upskill their workforce in order to integrate emerging technology projects beyond proof of concept.
