PI responds to College of Policing consultation on facial recognition

Privacy International, plus several allies, including Liberty, Defend Digital Me, Open Rights Group and Big Brother Watch, have submitted a response to the College of Policing's public consultation on the Police use of live facial recognition technology (LFRT). The response makes clear that the use of LFRT poses "significant and unmitigable risks" to our society. Privacy International has also published a Free to Protest guide, which looks at how to avoid police surveillance and includes tips and strategies about how you can protect yourself from being identified, tracked and monitored.
