Legitimate Interest facilitates responsible data use and innovation

CIPL, the Centre for Information Policy Leadership, has published a White Paper on how the legitimate interest legal basis for processing under the GDPR can enable more responsible data use and innovation. It provides recommendations on how to interpret, use and apply Legitimate Interests in order to unlock value. The Paper is in response to the EDPB opinion of Legitimate Interests and is intended to be relevant anywhere that includes legitimate interests as a legal basis for processing personal data under data protection law.
