Pressure mounts on Luxembourg DPA to investigate Amazon

Former Vice President of the European Commission Viviane Reding has raised questions about the Luxembourg DPA's handling of allegations against Amazon over the company's data practices. More than two years after the EU General Data Protection Regulation has come into effect, the National Commission for Data Protection still hasn't imposed any fines. "This is a delicate state of affairs given several large tech companies, like Amazon, are under Luxembourg's jurisdiction."
