French DPA visits Woildcoin's offices in Paris

On Wednesday, the French data protection authority, the CNIL, made an unannounced visit to Worldcoin's Orb centre in Paris to question a senior executive. The latest regulatory action comes amid increasing scrutiny of Worldcoin's privacy practices regarding their cryptocurrency project. The watchdog delegation arrived unexpectedly and met with the company's manager overseeing its French operations. Worldcoin has set up similar hubs across Europe, including in Germany, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The regulator has not yet commented on the purpose of its visit.
