Firms are interpreting California’s privacy law as they see fit

According to Politico, all the angst the CCPA has caused in corporate America, the strongest data privacy law in the nation landed with a relative whimper. But a sample of retail, financial services and media websites found companies are interpreting the Privacy Act differently.
