EU Parliamentary Assistants Committee seeks answers over data breach

Affected employees at the European Parliament are seeking answers following the news that the PEOPLE recruitment system had suffered a data breach earlier in the month.

The Accredited Parliamentary Assistants Committee, representing approximately 2,000 assistants, has asked Parliament President Roberta Metsola for more information on the measures being taken to address the data protection and cybersecurity risks stemming from the breach.
