Stop the Government from creating a digital police state

The Open Rights Groups are urging people to object to the Governments plans to increase Police powers through the National Fraud Initiative (NFI), a programme that matches data between public and private sector bodies to detect fraud. The ORG fears that without checks and balances, the Government is effectively creating a digital Police State.  The Cabinet Office is holding a public consultation until 5th May, have your say.
