OECD report outlines business views on data transfer rules

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published a report analysing businesses' experiences when dealing with rules concerning international data transfers. The report is an update to the data free flows and trust initiative announced at a G7 data protection authorities' roundtable in 2021. Among its findings, businesses indicate a "need for coherent principles and rules that are transparent and predictable. "
