The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has launched the OECD AI Policy Toolkit, an interactive, evolving platform designed to assist governments in promoting the safe and trustworthy development of artificial intelligence (AI). The non-prescriptive guide aims to help policymakers translate international principles into practical action.

The toolkit utilises AI-powered semantic search to help policymakers surface real-world examples and guidance from global practices. This functionality helps governments prioritise actions and navigate complex policy challenges, such as balancing local and global models, managing infrastructure shortages, such as compute capacity, and scaling the technology across healthcare, education, and agriculture.
