NIST publishes post-quantum cryptography white paper

The NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) has published a new white paper on post-quantum cryptography (PQC), urging organisations to begin migrating their systems now to protect against future quantum computers. The paper warns that current cryptographic algorithms could soon be broken, and advises action to prevent a "harvest now, decrypt later" attack, where data is stolen today to be decrypted by future quantum computers.
