NIST prepares to update it's Privacy Framework

The US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is about to commence its planned Privacy Framework update. The update will include work on a joint Data Governance Profile to maximise the benefits of managing privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and IoT risks. In August 2023, NIST established a Privacy Workforce Public Working Group of around 750 privacy professionals.
