NCSC updates Cyber Threat Report for the legal sector

The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSC) has published its 2023 update of its Cyber Threat Report for the legal sector.

This report provides valuable insights to law firms, lawyers, and legal practices on the current cyber security threats and the extent to which the legal sector is targeted. Over 320,000 individuals are employed within the industry, which is worth an estimated £44 billion. The size of organisations in the sector and the resources that they allocate to cybersecurity can vary significantly. The report offers practical guidance on how organisations can build resilience against these threats and is an excellent resource for raising awareness about the specific cyber risks that law firms face.
