The MIT AI Risk Initiative has launched the AI Risk Navigator (AIRN), an interactive web tool designed to centralise datasets through shared taxonomies. The AIRN platform allows researchers to conduct in-depth, cross-dataset exploration of risk domains, subdomains, and relevant governance documents. In taking a centralised approach, AIRN enables the identification of patterns that remain invisible when datasets are viewed in isolation.
The current version, v1.0.0, includes interactive visualisations that support PNG export for use in professional reports and presentations. Three additional datasets are currently in development for future integration, alongside planned enhancements for expanded analysis tools and deeper website embedding.
A period of feedback for v1.0.0 is open until 1 June 2026.
