Google to launch data protection compliance AI tool

Google is preparing to release an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can detect personal data to help organisations comply with global data protection regulations. The automated tool is based on Google's BigQuery system, which processes and analyses data inputs and outputs using AI to find the best way to carry out the task. The company expects that it will be able to decipher policies and restrictions in any legal jurisdiction and make decisions in milliseconds.
