Monetary penalties issued by ICO triple to £15.2 million

Analysis from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain LLP has revealed monetary penalties issued by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) have more than tripled in value from £4.8 million to £15.2 million over the 12 months ending in October. The majority of the increase was driven by two penalties, including a £7,552,800 fine to Clearview AI and the £4,400,000 fine to Interserve Group.
