Insider data breaches to increase by 8% in 2021

Insider data breaches are forecasted to rise by 8% in 2021, with 33% of incidents anticipated to be caused internally. The increase is expected, in part, due to many employees working remotely amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to 2021 Cybersecurity Resilience predictions from Forrester.  This comes as Infosecurity Magazine reports remote workers are ignoring training to open suspicious emails.
