Accountability through codes of conduct and certification

In a blog post, the Irish Data Protection Commission discussed how to operationalise accountability by using codes of conduct and certifications under the GDPR. The DPC wrote that using both accountability tools "will allow all stakeholders to play their part in the application, monitoring, supervision and enforcement of data protection standards."
