FCA confirms data breach

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has admitted in a statement that it mistakenly publicised personal data belonging to people who had lodged complaints against the authority in response to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request. In a further development reported in The Telegraph, Brexit campaigner Aron Banks is among 1600 affected by the FCA breach.
