The Cyber Essentials scheme is set for its second update in as many years following updated guidance in several key areas. The latest update is scheduled for April 2023 and aims to ensure the scheme's requirements align with the current technology landscape. According to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the 2022 update involved a significant update of the scheme's technical controls, whereas the April 2023 update is designed to clarify certain areas.
