Computer Misuse Act turns 30 as campaigners cry its time to upgrade

In an open letter to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, a group of cybersecurity organisations are asking for the Computer Misuse Act (CMA) to be updated. Originally reaching royal assent in 1990, the CMA is out of date and is preventing the UK from competing on a global stage. Additional commentary in The Register and copy of the open letter.
