ICO sends a Valentine's Day message to beauty and wellbeing businesses

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has posted a Valentine's Day reminder to small businesses operating in the beauty and wellbeing sector to protect their customers' information rights.

Faye Spencer, Head of Business Services at the ICO, emphasised the importance of protecting customers' personal information and building trust with them. Spencer also acknowledged that smaller businesses have limited resources and time to devote to data protection and highlighted the ICO's commitment to making data protection simple and easy for them.
