ICO secures winding-up order to shut down Breathe Services Ltd.

09/10/2025 | ICO

In a LinkedIn post, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) announced that it has successfully secured a winding-up order to close down Breathe Services Ltd. The action follows the company's failure to pay a Â£170,000 monetary penalty issued by the ICO in December 2024. The fine was imposed after the company was found to have made 4,376,037 unsolicited direct marketing calls to numbers registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) in violation of regulations 21 and 24 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
