ICO secures £118,852 in confiscation orders against two former RAC employees

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has secured confiscation orders totalling £118,852.32 against two former RAC employees, Debbie Okparavero and Maliha Islam. Okparavero was ordered to pay £85,727.32, while Islam was required to pay £33,125.00, in addition to legal costs. The confiscation orders were issued following Proceeds of Crime Act hearings after both individuals had previously received suspended prison sentences and were required to complete 150 hours of unpaid work for unlawfully copying and selling over 29,500 lines of personal information.
