ICO raid two properties over Matt Hancock CCTV footage leak

The ICO has released a statement about the investigation over the Matt Hancock CCTV footage leak. The ICO confirms in the statement that it has opened an investigation following a data breach report being submitted by EMCOR Group, a processor providing facilities management and CCTV services for the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). Two residential properties were searched on Thursday, 15th July 2021, where computer equipment was seized under section 170 of the Data Protection Act 2018.
