ICO publishes Q4 2022 data security incident trends data

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has updated its data security incident trends report to include personal data breaches up to Q4 2022. During the period, 2,265 security incidents were reported to the ICO, of which 43% fell outside the legal 72-hour notification timeframe under Article 33 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
