ICO publishes final encryption guidance

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has published its final guidance on encryption to help organisations comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The guidance includes sections that explain the different types of encryption and how they can be used to protect personal information when it is stored and during transfer. The guidance also covers how to implement encryption and a range of scenarios where its application should be considered.
