ICO publishes comprehensive data controller landscape study

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has published the results of a comprehensive 2-year study into the UK data controller landscape. The research, which combines quantitative and qualitative data, aims to support the ICO in informing its strategic, regulatory, and research activities. The study examines the demographic characteristics of controllers, their personal data processing activities, and the technology used for data processing, as well as their innovation considerations. It also explored their general views on data protection and the ICO's work. The quantitative results are presented in an interactive dashboard and are accompanied by:
