ICO opens employment practices and data protection consultation

Following on from its consultation on employment practices and data protection draft guidance, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has published a blog and opened a second consultation seeking input on its employee health information draft guidance. The blog discusses the ways in which working life has changed since the pandemic, along with the increasing use of AI in the workplace. The ICO explains how employers are "likely to process a lot of information about your workers and their health, such as occupational health reports or sickness absences. It's vital, for you and your workers, that you know how to look after this sensitive information."
