ICO opens consultation over data transfer agreement

The ICO has opened a consultation period for its draft international data transfer agreement and guidance. The IDTA will replace the current set of standard contractual clauses. The consultation is divided into three sections: the proposal and plans for updating data transfer guidance, transfer risk assessments, and the international data transfer agreement. Submissions must be received by the 7th of Oct.
