ICO online training resources for businesses

Following the ICO25 announcement earlier this month outlining the regulatory approach and priorities for the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) over the next three years, the ICO has now published their internal data protection and freedom of information online training materials. As an information rights training company, we recognise the benefits of this content for organisations looking to ensure their staff are given a minimum amount of training. 

With this in mind, we have added the ICO online training materials to our resource page. It is worth noting that the training is delivered in a lecture style with limited engagement. Furthermore, as the training sessions do not include any end-of-module assessments, it means there are no reporting options or the ability to establish a record of completion. 

The publication of the materials came to light through a post summarising the 5 key takeaways from the DPPC 2022 conference.
