ICO launches privacy notice generator for small businesses

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has released a new tool to assist small businesses and charities in creating custom privacy notices. The tool replaces the previous template and aims to provide a quick and straightforward process for generating privacy notices. In addition, the ICO plans to launch sector-specific versions of the privacy notice generator in the summer of 2024. These sector-specific versions will cater to industries such as professional services, education and childcare, health and social care, and charity and voluntary sectors.
