The Information Commission (ICO) has joined the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group's (NCRCG) National Ambassador Programme, strengthening its commitment to improving cyber resilience and helping organisations safeguard personal information.

The partnership enables the regulator to collaborate with other ambassadors and a network of police-led Cyber Resilience Centres to increase awareness of cybersecurity risks. It aims to connect SMEs with free and affordable support services nationwide.

As cyber threats continue to evolve, the ICO stressed that robust security is a core priority for protecting personal information, maintaining public trust, and enabling safe data use through practical guidance and support across public and private sectors.
