ICO fines Simply Connecting Ltd £40k

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has fined Simply Connecting Ltd £40,000 after the company sent 441,830 unsolicited SMS text messages in violation of regulations 22 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
