ICO fines compensation company £90,000 for PECR violations

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has fined AFK Letters Co Ltd £90,000 after the company conducted 95,277 unsolicited direct marketing calls to people registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), a violation of regulations 21 and 24 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
