ICO fines Brazier Consulting Services Ltd £200,000

The ICO has fined consulting company Brazier Consulting Services Ltd £200,000 for making over 11 million claims management calls about PPI without obtaining consent, which led to 316 complaints. In the course of its investigation, the ICO also found no evidence that any data protection training was provided to staff in relation to the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
