Why it's unlikely the EU's additional supplemental SCCs will materialise

The European Commission confirmed that it will develop a supplemental set of standard contractual clauses (SCCs) to cover data transfers to data importers that are already subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation. In this article, the IAPP discuss why it is "unlikely" the commission and European Data Protection Board will "quickly see eye to eye on what the supplemental SCCs should look like."
