Updated AI governance glossary of terms

The IAPP AI Governance Center has updated its Key Terms for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance resource. The initial glossary had 61 key terms but has been updated after further research and consultation with leading AI governance professionals. As AI governance is constantly evolving due to the rapid and continuous developments in technology, an update was deemed necessary. The updated glossary now includes eight additional key terms, including: 

  1. Adversarial machine learning
  2. Compute
  3. Deepfakes
  4. Disinformation
  5. Misinformation
  6. Parameters
  7. Semi-supervised learning
  8. Transformer model
