The IAPP has published an infographic that puts recent data initiatives in the European Union in context. From the EU_GDPR to the recently proposed Digital Services Act and Digital Markets Act, the infographic highlights important details of these initiatives and where the most recent proposals stand. Elsewhere, a Brookings Institution piece offers lessons legislators may learn from the EU's Digital Services Act. They say a unifying vision is important, and its asymmetric regulatory perspective of large online platforms is interesting.
