Now that three EU data protection authorities have determined Google Analytics unlawfully transfers data to the United States, companies are left with limited options and, in some cases, no suitable alternatives. How should privacy professionals react given further similar decisions are only to be expected. In a conversation with the IAPP, Fox Rothschild Partner Odia Kagan says, "Cry and pray. I think that's the only thing we can do — is cry and pray."
